Alabama Central Credit Union Certificates of Deposit

Alabama Central Credit Union is offering certificates of deposit with terms ranging from 6 months to 60 months for both regular certificates of deposit and IRA certificates of deposit. The minimum opening deposit for regular certificate of deposit accounts is $500. IRA CD accounts have a $250 minimum opening deposit. In addition to these CD terms the credit union is also offering secured certificate of deposit loans.

The credit union's 12 month certificate of deposit rate is currently at 1.656% and the annual percentage yield (APY) is 1.75%. This CD rate and CD yield might not be the best CD rate and yield but it beats the national average by 0.65%. The CU is also offering a 12 month jumbo CD rate of 1.893% with an APY of 2.00%.
