Cal State L.A. Federal Credit Union is offering share certificates of deposit with terms of 3 months to 36 months. All certificates of deposit of 12 months or more have the option to Bump-Up the CD rate once during the term of your certificate.

The minimum opening certificate of deposit account balance is $2,500.
The credit union is also offering a Children's Certificate which probably pays the best CD rate currently available. The Children's certificate of deposit is a 60 month CD with a current CD rate of 5.00 percent and an annual percentage yield (APY) of 5.12 percent. Your child may add money to the certificate of deposit one time per year within 30 days of their birthday.
