Teachers Federal Credit Union CD Rates

Teachers Federal Credit Union (TFCU) is advertising regular certificates (certificates of deposit), jumbo certificates of deposit and IRA certificates of deposit. Regular share certificates of deposit and IRA certificates of deposit have terms ranging from 3 months to 60 months. Jumbo certificates of deposit have terms ranging from 1 month to 16 months.

The minimum opening CD account balance for regular CDs and IRA CDs is $1,000. Jumbo CD accounts have a minimum opening balance of $100,000. As you would expect, their jumbo CD rates are higher than their regular CD rates. The credit union's highest jumbo CD rate is on their 16 month certificate. The current 16 month jumbo CD rate is 1.78 percent with an annual percentage yield of 1.80 percent.
