BB&T Certificates of Deposit

Branch Banking and Trust Company (BB&T) is advertising seven different types of certificates of deposit. The bank is advertising regular certificates of deposit with terms ranging from 7 days to 5 years. The bank is also offering a Home Saver CD, a College Saver CD, an Add-On CD, a Can't Lose CD, a Stepped Rate CD and a Treasury CD.

BB&T also offers certificates of deposit through the Certificate of Deposit Registry Service which allows CD investors to receive up to $50 million in FDIC insurance coverage through CDARS member banks.
